Hire Conditions and Charges

The authorised Licensable Activities and the times that they may be carried out are as follows:
A Performance of a Play or a Performance of of Live Music or a Performance of Recorded Music may be held on weekdays and Saturdays between 10:00 am and midnight.
The premises must not be used for licensed activities on any part of Christmas Day or Good Friday.
Permitted numbers must not exceed 100 and two stewards must be provided.
Guarlford Village Hall is not licensed for the supply of alcohol.
Persons organising events requiring the sale of alcohol must apply to the MHDC for a Temporary Event Notice (TEN) together with the fee (currently £21 per event). The hall is restricted to 12 TENs in any one calendar year.
The charges for the casual hire of the hall are £20.00 per session, where a session might be a morning, afternoon or evening, £35.00 for a double session and £45.00 for a triple session.
